Assemblage of Piedirosso, Aglianico, and Sciascinoso. This wine has a history dating back before the middle ages. It, along with another historic wine called Gragnano, was written about by different historians. The Lettere was written about by a man knows as the man of letters, Mario Soldati. He defined it as an unreal wine, and that title has achieved its reputation upon esteemed tables today.
