Sangiovese with Ciliegiolo and Canaiolo. Harvested during mid-September and placed in wooden boxes. The 11 hectares of grapes have northeasterly exposure with a sandy soil richly concentrated with minerals and a good balance of rocks. The vineyards are 150 meters above sea level, and aging takes place in 225 liter barriques and 500 liter oak barrels. The climate of the area is greatly influenced by the sea. The vineyards are protected hills to the east, which protect them from severe weather. Bottling takes place in September and then it is left to mature for one year in the cellar before being ready for release.
