BAROLO BARBADELCHI

DIEGO PRESSENDA

Barolo Barbadelchi 2018.png

Diego Pressenda is a family-owned winery located in Monforte d'Alba, a municipality in the heart of the Barolo production area. Diego began his career as a winemaker at the age of 18, buying properties in the area and building a family legacy that would continue through generations. Today, the winery is run by Diego's children and son-in-law, who have brought new ideas and innovations to the business. The winery is committed to sustainability, using organic and biodynamic practices in the vineyards to produce exceptional wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

Pleasant and powerful aromas of violets, tobacco, and red cherries with undertones of leather. The soft and rounded tannins are supported by fresh, mouthwatering acidity. The wine is complex and ever-changing in the glass with a long, elegant finish. This is an approachable Barolo that can be enjoyed young, and also has a high aging potential and would be ideal to keep some extra years in the cellar.
