FRIULANO

COZZAROLO

Friulano_edited.jpg

Cozzarolo is a third-generation family owned winery and is located in the centre of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, in the north eastern part of Italy. The winery is situated in a hilly area, and the soils vary from marl, sandstone, clay, and gravel. The warm salty winds from the Adriatic sea and colder winds from the Alps moderate the vineyards and add distinctive characteristics of acidity and salinity to the white wines, while still maintaining the elegant fragrance in Cozzarolo's red wines.

Straw coloured with green hues. Floral fruity bouquet with notes of lemon, fresh sweet herbs, and bitter almonds. Dry, velvety with moderate acidity.
