PINOT GRIGIO

COZZAROLO

Pinto-Grigio_edited.jpg

Cozzarolo is a third-generation family owned winery and is located in the centre of DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, in the northeastern part of Italy. The winery is situated in a hilly area, and the soils vary from marl, sandstone, clay, and gravel. The warm salty winds from the Adriatic sea and colder winds from the Alps moderate the vineyards and add distinctive characteristics of acidity and salinity to the white wines, while still maintaining the elegant fragrance in the red wines.

Straw coloured with bright copper tones. Typical bouquet reminiscent of acacia blossoms and bread. The palette is dry, full and pleasantly sharp.
